For this child we have prayed!

I woke up this morning singing Happy Birthday to my big boy who is now 1. We got dressed and ready to go see Stan. First we took Stone's picture in his anywhere chair as we do every month on the 19th and to my surprise Stone got up out of his chair and walked over to me about 5 steps away. I was screaming and Greg was saying what is wrong and I said Stone just walked over to me. So needless to say it has been a very big morning. As I sat and watched Stone eat his cake I thank God for this bundle of joy he has given us. Stone took 250 pictures this morning and he finally went down for a nap.

I mind of his own!

This little boy has a mind of his own he is all over the place now and he will be 1 tomorrow. We had a little milk this morning and he is not real sure what he thinks of it. This is a picture of Ava Kate I didn't want to post a picture before Justin & Aubrey but here she is and she is beautiful.

So sleepy!

This morning we were off schedule our Doughboy Pool truck arrived at 8 so that means we unloaded about 1000 boxes. It is the most dreaded day of the year for the guys who work here because it is a lot of physical work. So needless to say I was so busy that Papa had to entertain Stone for most of the morning and at about 12:30 this is where I found Stone in my dad's office.

Birthday Month!

This is always a big month for birthday not only Stone but here is a list of our family & friends who celebrate this month. If I forget one don't get mad at me! Aubrey & Ava Kate Stone & Gramp's will be 1 & 84 on the 19th Zanne & Brad will be 30 & I think 27 on the 15th. My Papa's B-day was the 25th. We are about to start the Birthday week yes Stone will have a Birthday week I love birthday and Holidays more than most people my husband thinks I am a little weird because I make such a big deal out of birthdays. I have been planning Stone's for about a month and it is giving me an ulcer because, do I really think he will remember any of it no but I will. So the theme is a Pirates life for me I love pirates and sculls and all the fun stuff I can not wait we will have Stone's photo shoot with Stan at 8:00 where he will demolish his first cake. Then he will have a fun day with mom not sure if we will be at work well I guess we will be but it will be a day of nothing but fun for him. Oh my gosh he is growing too fast does anyone know how to freeze a one year old so they wont grow up too fast??? Zanne I know you love birthday week at your house so I know you are right here with me on all of this.

Wild weekend.

Yeah the Home & Garden show is over I am so tired! I love to sell spas I hated to leave Stone but Uncle David & Aunt Sharon spoiled him rotten and he had a great time so it was good for all of us. I wish I had some pictures of the show but I don't I will try to find a picture of Gregs waterfall it is beautiful and it is sold yeah! Sorry Meme but he said he would make you one that was even better. Have fun with Brad & Hannah!

Where did the year go?

Last year at this time I was still pregnant and fat and miserable I remember it very well. Only because it is the weekend for the Home & Garden show and I was ready for Stone to get here. He was born four days before Easter as you can see him with the Easter Bunny AKA Aunt Sharon SHHHHHH! I am laying in bed watching Stone sleep and he has this habit when he is asleep he grabs his poppy and moves it up and down it is so funny to watch because he is asleep. I am about to put him in his crib and pray that his daddy will leave him in his crib they are doing better. We will also get to welcome baby Ava Kate Jarrett into the world on the 17th and we are so excited to meet her. I was having a conversation with Aubrey and Nancy Hildebrand this weekend and we were talking about how in-vitro babies get a little special treatment more sonograms and induced early they just watch them a little closer. I don't know what it is I know all parents love their children but when you have to wait and try really hard to have a baby I think you appreciate the blessing God gives you a little more. Don't get me wrong I know yall all love your children but when you watch your child grow in a plastic dish under a microscope you just think the miracle of life is priceless. I do remember what we did before Stone but I am not sure what I would do without him. Thank you lord for the blessing you have given me.

Good News!

We saw Dr. Damiani this morning and he said Stone's finger is looking very good. This the the first time that I have been able to look at it and not want to cry. The nail will grow back in the next 1-2 months and the finger will continue to round out in the next month. Just in time for our big boy's pirate birthday! I can not believe it has been a year and it has been the best year of my life. I love it that Stone is with me everyday he is starting to want to walk and he will hold onto my finger and take off it wont be long until he is walking on his own. What will we do with him at work then?
