Old friends!

I am sorry I didn't get a picture of Kristi while we were at Chick-fil-a. Stone and I had a play date with Zanne & Addy and Carolyn and Jaxson. These are definitely some of my oldest friends. I have known them all from about the time we were three and now we have kids and they will become friends it is the circle of life and I love it. Zanne also has Brycen who was at Nana's house because he didn't feel good and Kristi has Carson who was sick with an ear infection and is prego with baby Caden who we can't wait to meet in May. Thanks girls for the fun times Stone was exhausted after a week full of fun events. More pictures to come of Stone Uncle Brad & Aunt Hannah.

Stone your Chariot awaits you!

Stone & I went for a run yesterday in his new Bob Ironman stroller I promise you he laughed for the first mile. I think he might have thought he was being pulled by Hunter & Harley because they were running in-front of him. We also tried his new Baby Rock Star Stroller and it was so great I must say he travels in style. His new Hummer & dune buggie are great he hasn't figured out how to make them move yet but he will figure it out.

Christmas Eve!

We went to Stones first Christmas Eve service he did really good. Then we went to Oleta's for dinner and presents Stone got the cutest bag from The Ponders and his new ride the Hummer and his feet can't touch the floor in it yet but he will get there. It was a fun night and I don't know who was more excited for Santa Stone or Daddy!

The living Christmas Tree!

Stone had his first acting debut this weekend. We went to watch The Wylie Baptist Living Christmas Tree and Meme said can Stone help me push the sleigh! So Stone got to push the sleigh and he got to go on stage and watch the kids have a snow fight and a man sang he did very good for no practice.... We didn't get a picture of Granddaddy in his King outfit with his fake beard and his big hat but we wish we had.

First Christmas!

I love to see Stone in these PJ's I bought them for him when I was pregnant. They are so soft but a little big the bottoms fell off when he was asleep. Stone is growing so fast he will be 9 months next week.

Christmas Parade!

I went to my first parade and it was so much fun daddy let me have a sucker it was really good until mommy took it away from me. Meme let me ride on her shoulders it was lots of fun.
Papa I think next year we should put a spa in the parade!!

Thanksgiving Turkey Leg!

Only a grandmother would let her Grandson have a turkey leg while she is wearing a white shirt. We had thanksgiving lunch at The McMinn's it was so nice and relaxing Stone got to run in Grandaddy's shop it is the best floor around and believe it or not he did not go close to all of those motorcycles. Great Gramp's and Stone were checking out all those dogs they are so
funny. When we got home Stone was so sleepy he got in Mommy's bed to watch a movie and fell asleep before I could turn it on. Stone also got his very first Christmas ornaments from his Meme and his Great Gram they are the only ornaments on our tree but I will fill it up tomorrow.

Who are you calling a turkey!

I think when we are children we think of holidays as spending time with our crazy family. Then the older we get we realize they aren't as crazy as we once thought they were. Then we become adults and we realize they are really pretty fun and smart and we end up respecting them more and more for setting good examples and for touching our lives for all of those years even when we thought they were crazy. This Thanksgiving I am thankful for my crazy family who I love so much to be around and spend time with I am so thankful we got to spend the night at the ranch. I am also so very thankful for Stone we worked really hard to have him and he is the best thing that ever happened to us. Greg asked me if I had to tell someone how much I loved Stone what would you say. I can't no words can describe the way I feel for him.

Yo-baby yogurt is really good where did it all go?


This is Stone's new game we call it Walker Ball instead of Soccer. It is a game for 8 month old babies if anyone would like to join us come on down and we will have a pick up game 5 pm. bring your own cleats.

8 Months Old!

Time is going so fast I know I say that every month but it really is. I love every minute with Stone. This week we have gone from 4 bottles a day to 3 bottles a day. It is more work for mommy but I think it is a good thing. Stone is trying new foods he loves real sweet potatoes and so do I with lots of brown sugar and cinnamon just like my Papa use to make for me. Now I make them for every holiday I took over that dish after he passed away in Dec. 2001.

Today is always a special day we went to church then met up with Gigi Papa G, Kaitlyn & Kaycee for lunch at Lytle. Today was Gigi's B-day we had a really good time and Stone sat in a high chair for the first time and he did really good. Then we went to see Gram, Gramps and Meme for cupcakes it is also Gram's B-day. So we played and Stone took a nap and then we went home to clean house. The funny thing about our families is no one has a birthday or Anniv. in a month that they don't share it with another person so here are our crazy list of fact.
Nov. 16th Our 6th Anniv. Gigi's B-day Gram's B-day. Our friends from Vegas The Fischella's Anniv. also.
March 15 Brad's B-day
March 19th Stone's B-day & Gramps b-day
May 14 Melanie's B-day 19th My b-day.
June 13th Kaitlyn's B-day My parents Anniv.
July is nuts 19th Greg's 20 Clydes 29th KC 30th Papa G Birthday crazy.
So we have lots of fun stuff going on and we had a really good weekend. This is the first year Greg and I did not exchange gifts and for me that is a big deal I love to give gifts and plan it out but we decided that Stone was our gift to each other and that is all we needed. Plus we did shop all weekend so we got way more than we needed.
